What academic requirements do I need to join?
There are no academic requirements to join the program, just some gear and passion!
What are the course outcomes or certifications?
Ever wondered what qualification your favorite artist has while listening to their music? No…? At UAS we believe in actual results, not a paper with results. By the time you’ve completed the curriculum, you’ll have the skills to execute approximately 10 different types of production! But for your hard work we’ll also award you with a certificate of completion for completing our program.
What is Hybrid learning?
Hybrid learning is a combination of online and in studio practical contact classes. This allows learners to pace themselves with the theoretical aspects of the course but still have hands-on experience during mentor lead contact classes. Not only is it convenient for the learner but also a great way to reduce traveling and accommodation costs.
How frequent are contact sessions?
Contact sessions are once a week on weekends with exception of one full week of hands-on production in our studio facilities.
Do I need prior experience in music production?
Although a big help, it’s not required.
What equipment/gear is required?
Today’s technology allows individuals to produce Music in small environments and even bedrooms. That’s why our program is focused on the skills, not the equipment! You do however need a computer, internet and some equipment to be able to do the projects. We also have prepackaged studio bundles available that perfectly fit the requirements.

We focus on general music production techniques but you’ll have the opportunity to work on a variety of genres during practical projects.
Can I schedule mentorship consults after completing the course?
Absolutely! After completing the course, you’ll have the option to book one-on-one mentorship consults with your course mentor. These sessions are tailored to your needs—whether you want feedback on a project, guidance on working with clients, or advice on advancing your career. This ongoing support ensures you stay on track as you navigate the music production industry.
